Meet the Founder Ameera Murad Ameer " MiMi"
Ameera Murad Ameer is a dynamic professional with a passion for marketing and media, driven by the belief that even the smallest actions can make a significant impact. A proud graduate of the prestigious University of Cape Town, Ameera earned her degree in Media and International Relations, graduating with honors on the Dean’s List.
Her journey into the world of advertising began with an internship at Ogilvy Cape Town in 2013, where she gained invaluable experience and insights into the industry. Since then, Ameera has accumulated over 10 years of experience in the marketing field, primarily focusing on digital strategy, content creation, media management, and customer experience.
Throughout her career, Ameera has had the privilege of working with renowned brands such as Econet, Stanbic Zimbabwe, Standard Bank Malawi, African Sun, ZOL, and Baker’s Inn. Her expertise and leadership skills have led to managerial roles overseeing operations in Zambia, Malawi, and Zimbabwe.
In 2024, Ameera made the bold decision to explore consultancy as a career path, leveraging her vast experience to provide strategic insights and guidance to clients. Among her clients are Veldemeers, Divine Simbi Ndhlukula, The Eye Institute and TBWA Zimbabwe.
In addition to her professional achievements, Ameera is also an accomplished blogger, known for her platform “Kicking it With MiMi.” Her blog has received numerous awards, including the prestigious title of 2022 African Female Blogger of the Year. Through her blog and digital platforms, Ameera continues to connect with audiences across the African continent, sharing powerful stories and insights.
